Small tools, built properly

Payal K is an independent website that publishes free online tools for everyday tasks around WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube and Telegram. It is run by a small team in India, and it exists because we kept running into the same problem: the tool we needed already existed somewhere, but it was buried under pop ups, asked for a login, or wanted us to upload a personal file to a server we had never heard of.

What we build

Each tool on this site does one job and finishes it on the page you are already on. There is no dashboard to learn, no account to create, and no step where you are asked to share a phone number or a password. If a tool needs a file from you, that file is read by your own browser and never leaves your device.

The list grows in the order people ask for things. Requests that arrive again and again get built first, which is why the feedback page matters more than any roadmap we could write ourselves.

How we decide what not to build

Plenty of popular tool ideas are not safe or honest, and we turn those down. We do not build anything that:

• asks you for a password or a one time code for an account you own somewhere else
• promises free recharges, gift cards or rewards in exchange for shares
• reveals private details about a person who has not agreed to it
• works by breaking the rules of the platform it connects to

Saying no to those ideas costs us traffic. It also means you can open anything on this site without wondering what the catch is.

How the site pays for itself

Hosting, domains and development time cost money, and the tools are free to use, so the site carries advertising. Ads are placed around the content rather than inside it, and they never sit on top of a button you are trying to press. We do not accept paid placements that are dressed up as recommendations.

Who is behind it

The site is built and maintained by an independent developer, not a company with a support department. That means replies come from a person, usually within two working days, and it also means the occasional bug slips through. When one does, tell us and it gets fixed.

Payal K is not associated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram or their parent companies. Those names are used only to describe what a tool is for. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
