Always keep your original file. Because processing happens in your browser, we have no copy of anything you open here and cannot recover a file for you.

Check the output before you rely on it

Compression removes detail by design. Before submitting a processed file to any form or authority, open it and confirm that it is acceptable for your purpose, in particular that faces are recognisable and that any text remains readable.

We are not responsible for an application being rejected, a deadline being missed, or any other consequence arising from a file processed using this site. The decision to submit a file is yours.

Information on this site

Pages here describe file size limits and upload requirements that various forms and portals commonly use. These are written in good faith and reviewed from time to time, but requirements change without notice and differ between organisations and states.
