About Ashray Living
Ashray Living runs two separate PG residences on Bungalow Road in Kamla Nagar. The girls' house sits at 20-E and 21-E; the boys' place is at 16, opposite GBSSS No.1 in Roop Nagar. Both are inside Delhi University's North Campus belt, so getting to class is mostly a walk — Hindu College is around 12 minutes on foot, St. Stephen's about 11, and Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station roughly 14 minutes.
Rooms come as single sharing, double sharing (twin occupancy) or a private suite, all on an 11-month lease. Tariffs aren't published, so you'll have to ask. Food runs four times a day: breakfast 7:30 to 9:30 with seasonal fruit, lunch 12:30 to 14:30, evening snacks at 5, and dinner between 8 and 9:30 with dessert. The weekly menu rotates North and South Indian dishes, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and the kitchen stays open round the clock. Midnight snacks get arranged during exam season.
Security is handled the same way at both houses — CCTV across common areas all day, face-recognition entry, trained guards round the clock and an emergency concierge line. Water for bathing and general supply is government-treated MCD water, not borewell; drinking water goes through an RO plant separately. Housekeeping with bedding, personal fibre-optic Wi-Fi, laundry plus a self-wash machine, 24x7 power backup with AC and personal parking are covered in the monthly tariff. Electricity is billed by usage, partly offset by rooftop solar panels.
The girls' residence also has cappuccino, cold coffee and lemon-water vending, a sunlit lounge and a dedicated study area. Residents on the private suite tier get extras: gym access at Affluence, airport pick and drop, an in-room TV and mini fridge, electric kettle, iron and table, bed warmer, electronic door lock, and an all-day personal attendant. Two house rules matter before you sign — the monthly fee is due in the first seven days of the calendar month, and from the 8th a late fee of ₹100 per day applies. Refunds begin only after the office issues a No Dues Clearance UID.
