Aga Khan Preschool

Aga Khan Preschool is situated near the ST Bus Stand in Khojavad, Ranavav, within the Porbandar district of Gujarat. The institution operates under the Aga Khan Education Services (AKES), an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network.

The Aga Khan Education Service was created by Sir Sultan Mahomed Shah Aga Khan, the predecessor and grandfather of the current Aga Khan. Aga Khan Schools trace their origins back to 1905, beginning with community-based literacy classes in remote rural areas of South East Asia. These early classes emphasized accessibility for all communities irrespective of socioeconomic status, provided education to both girls and boys, and stressed the importance of equitable early childhood education.
