Established originally in June 1936 by Prof. K. G. Pandit for children aged three to five years, the school incorporated Montessori education methods and materials into its curriculum. Due to its popularity, the initial classes expanded into multiple sections over the years. The institution receives support through donations, including contributions for nursery school spaces and buildings from Dr. Ranade in January 1950.
