GenB Preschool

GenB Preschool in Medavakkam, Chennai, is designed to support early childhood development for toddlers and young children. The institution operates as a screen-free sanctuary, blending cognitive thoroughness with sensory play to help children grow. Founded by Dr. Rajarajeswari Shankar, who brings over twenty-four years of experience as an occupational therapist, counselling psychologist, and early childhood educator, the facility focuses on sensory, motor, and cognitive development.

The preschool offers specialized services including day care and playgroup programs. It incorporates kinetic learning where children move through dedicated learning stations rather than remaining seated, alongside a vertical grouping model that encourages younger children to learn from older peers. To support physical growth, the centre features the signature NutriBite program, which provides balanced, kid-friendly nutrition twice daily. The infrastructure includes self-grooming stations and early potty training areas designed to foster independence.

Parents can also utilize the complimentary two-week Mom and Me program to help children transition smoothly into the school environment. The curriculum addresses five developmental pillars, which are cognitive, social-emotional learning, motor, aesthetic, and future-ready skills, aiming to provide a structured discovery space for children in Medavakkam and surrounding areas.
