Gurukalam

Gurukalam is a kids school located in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The institution specializes in early learning intervention and play school activities, designed to provide individual attention to young children. Founded on a Montessori-inspired vision by M. Pavithra, the school strives to foster freedom, responsibility, curiosity, and out-of-the-box thinking in a structured environment without limitations. Children engage in various extracurriculars and learning components such as block building, role play, art, writing, mathematics, science, reading, listening, music, and sensory play.

In addition to the kids school programs, Gurukalam offers a comprehensive teacher training program designed to equip educators to nurture these qualities in children. The child-centred approach also integrates medical guidance with a school medical officer to ensure wellbeing during the learning journey. Admissions are open for the academic year 2026 through 2027 for both early learning intervention programs, play school offerings, and the teacher training program.
