Haven International Montessori Preschool | Ayyanthole, Thrissur

Located in Ayyanthole, Thrissur, Haven International Montessori Preschool is an educational initiative started by Mrs. Lakshmi Devi and Mrs. Sowmy George. The school opened in September 2016 with a vision to spread the Montessori philosophy to children and families in Kerala. The curriculum is founded on the AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) heritage, and all directresses are AMI trained to guide children as they learn.

The school offers a hands-on, activity-based learning process rather than conventional textbook-based methods, utilizing a prepared environment that facilitates independent learning and exploration. The educational approach is designed for children between the ages of 2 to 6 years, recognizing that a child's brain functions to absorb and learn naturally during these early years. The preschool focuses on a comprehensive education that provides not only academic learning but also a social and emotional environment for young children.

The mission of the school is to serve children by providing a safe and nurturing environment grounded in the principles of Montessori pedagogy. The approach embraces the Montessori Method to deliver a stimulating program that supports young minds in following their inner drive to attain their highest potential.
