Koala Preschool

Koala Preschool is located at Progressive Celebrity on Palm Beach Road, near McDonalds, in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The institution offers day care, playgroup, nursery, and Montessori services for young children. The educational approach places emotional and social well-being at par with intellectual and physical growth, aiming to provide real-world experiences rather than just theoretical learning.

The curriculum integrates various teaching methodologies including EYFS Guidelines, NAEYC, Montessori, the Finland Phenomenon, Reggio Emilia, STEM, and value-based education. Programs cater to different age groups, featuring Daycare for children aged 1 to 10 years, Playgroup Explorers for ages 1.5 to 3 years, Nursery Adventurers for ages 2.5 to 4 years, Kinder Navigators for ages 3.5 to 5 years, and Senior Inventors for ages 4.5 to 6 years. Dr. Anabel Jensen serves as a chief advisor and pioneer in emotional intelligence, guiding the philosophy of the school.

The curriculum is designed to nurture children in eight types of intelligences, namely visual spatial, bodily kinesthetic, musical, linguistic, intrapersonal, interpersonal, logical mathematical, and naturalistic. The focus remains on equipping children with tools to navigate the world as self-reliant, life-long learners with strong personal values.
