About Shadow Marathon
Shadow Marathon in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, is a community-driven running event designed to promote fitness, healthy living, and sportsmanship throughout Kashmir. Founded by 18-year-old organizer Rahil Manzoor, the initiative aims to inspire individuals of all ages to embrace an active lifestyle and brings communities together through professionally organized running events.
The first edition of the marathon is scheduled for 13 September 2026 at the venue Al-Stop in Anantnag. The event day begins with a warm-up session at 06:30 AM, followed by the race start time at 07:00 AM. The registration fee is ₹600. Every registered runner receives an official t-shirt, a finisher medal, and an e-certificate.
