Sukra Jewellery

Located on North Mada Street in Mylapore, Chennai, Sukra Jewellery has been principally into silver retailing since its founding in 1979 by Mr. A. Kalkiraju. The store is recognized as the first silver retailer in the state and holds distinctions such as being the first silver showroom in India to receive ISO 9001 accreditation and the first retailer in South India to obtain the BIS silver hallmarking licence. Additionally, the establishment achieved two world records for the largest silver sculpture certified by the Guinness Book of Records and the largest silver clock certified by the World Records Academy, USA.

The collection features handcrafted silver jewellery combined with vivid colors of gemstones, alongside contemporary designs, temple jewellery, gift articles, silverware, pooja articles, designer jewels, and antique jewels. Operating hours are from Monday to Saturday between 10.00 AM and 8.30 PM, with the store remaining closed on Sundays.
